As an ultramarathoner who’s completed more than 50 distance races around the country, I hold national personal fitness training certification through AFAA (Aerobics and Fitness Association of America) and ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) and international personal fitness training certification through PTA Global. I also have special training as an Obstacle Race coach and in plant-based nutrition, and am an RRCA (Road Runners Club of America) Certified Running Coach. Additionally, I am a Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer (CIFT) through ACSM/NCPAD (American College of Sports Medicine/The National Center on Physical Activity and Disability), a credential that certifies me to serve people with physical, cognitive, or sensory disabilities.

Many fitness coaches out there may not be certified at all, but by maintaining multiple certifications I can stay up to date on a broad spectrum of health theories, methodologies and best practices from the US and around the world. With a bachelors degree and graduate education as well, you can feel confident that you’re training with someone who has the knowledge to bring you the most efficient and customized workout plan. With over a decade of experience, I’ve had the pleasure of seeing my clients achieve weight loss of up to 80 lbs, drop pants sizes, train for their first or 10th distance race, or build strength while dealing with medical conditions. I am also CPR, AED, and First Aid certified and am vigilant about safety and injury prevention.

When I’m not working with clients, lifting weights, or training for a race, you’ll find me reading, crafting, cooking healthy plant-based meals, or playing with my amazing daughter.
